The Osram Halogen Bulb 12 V 50 W is a low-voltage halogen lamp rated 12 V and 50 W, with a standard low-voltage base. It is supplied as a like-for-like replacement for examination lamps, dental unit lights, microscopes and fibre-optic light sources, and is intended for biomedical technicians and facility managers who keep examination, theatre and laboratory lighting in service.
Installation follows the equipment manufacturer's lamp-change procedure: isolate the power, wait for the housing to cool, withdraw the spent bulb and seat the new one fully in its holder. Keep the envelope free of fingerprints and check any alignment or focus adjustment the lamp housing provides, so that the beam is centred and even.

Pricing & quotations

Ordering & payment
Online orders are paid at checkout. Quoted orders are paid by bank transfer or card before dispatch unless credit terms have been agreed on an approved corporate account, which may order against a purchase order referencing the quotation number.
Delivery
Lead time and freight for this item are confirmed on your quotation or order confirmation for Oman & the GCC, Rwanda and East Africa. CIF, EXW and DDP terms are quoted per destination and risk passes according to the agreed Incoterm. The buyer is responsible for any import permit or product registration required in the destination country.
Returns & cancellations
- Lamps and bulbs are fragile: inspect on arrival and report breakage or defects within 48 hours of delivery with photographs; we replace at no cost.
- Unused bulbs in original packaging may be returned within 14 days of delivery.
- Bulbs that have been fitted or powered are not returnable except for early failure covered by the manufacturer.
Warranty
Bulbs and lamps are covered against manufacturing defects and premature failure within the manufacturer's stated rating. Failure caused by incorrect voltage, handling with bare hands or use outside the lamp housing is excluded.
Use & regulatory
Replace lamps with the power disconnected and the housing cool; match the voltage, wattage and base exactly.
